"While pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood can be joyous, they can also be some of the most challenging, overwhelming times of life.

Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth, bringing a child into the world is a massive transition. Yes, it’s precious, but it can also feel incredibly tough and even soul-destroying at times.

Wherever you are on your journey—whether you’re facing anxiety, birth trauma, or feeling disconnected—I’m here to help you find your way through and out the other side."

Counselling
& Psychotherapy for Parents

The transition to parenthood is a seismic event, bringing a host of emotional and physical challenges. In fact, 1 in 4 mothers and 1 in 10 fathers are diagnosed with a mental health condition during this time.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or the overwhelm of parenthood, I provide a safe, supportive space where we can work through these feelings together.

Through counselling and psychotherapy, I help parents regain balance, build resilience, and navigate this life-changing period with greater ease

Birth Trauma Recovery

Was your birth experience difficult or traumatic? Perhaps you experienced a challenging event during pregnancy or the postnatal period that left you with overwhelming emotions. Birth trauma is real, and it can affect your mental health and overall well-being.

I specialise in trauma therapy and use evidence-based techniques to help you process and recover from these experiences. Together, we will gently explore your feelings, giving you the tools to heal and move forward with renewed emotional strength.

Personalised
Birth Preparation

Preparing for birth is one of the most important things you can do during pregnancy. Evidence shows that parents who receive support and preparation for birth experience better mental health and well-being, setting the foundation for a positive start with their baby.

I specialise in supporting families, especially in sensitive situations such as birth after loss, hospital or birth phobias, and for survivors of sexual violence. Together, we’ll create a personalized birth plan that empowers you to approach labor with confidence and peace of mind.

Infant Bonding & Attachment Support

Creating a strong emotional bond with your baby is key to early parenthood, but if you’re facing challenges with attachment, bonding, or anxiety, I’m here to help.

Using a combination of approaches such as psychotherapy and Video Interactive Guidance, I support parents in building nurturing, secure relationships with their babies. With specialist training in Infant Mental Health and the Solihull Approach, I can help you overcome difficulties and develop a happy, trusting bond with your child.

How I Can Support You on Your Journey...

Rebecca, Mum of two

"I started seeing Rosie when my first child was three months old and I was in a very dark place. She made me feel safe from the very first session which allowed me to start opening up about how I was really feeling (I hadn't been able to tell anyone else). I was amazed that she totally understood where I was coming from and more than that she helped me see the reasons why I was feeling so bad. She has this wonderful way of helping you make sense of everything. She taught me new ways of coping and gave me really useful strategies for managing the difficult feelings I was experiencing. It wasn't long ( 6 sessions I think) before I was feeling so much better that our sessions came to an end. I would recommend her to any new mum if you find yourself struggling."
